Parish Mission Statement

We are a diverse community, a Jesuit parish in downtown Albuquerque. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, we are committed to the service of faith and the promotion of justice. We gather at Eucharist to probe the Scriptures and to be nourished by Christ's Body. Moved by the Holy Spirit, we continue our mission of loving and serving God and neighbor. In our words and actions, we labor with Christ, crucified and resurrected, to respond to our brothers' and sisters' spiritual, emotional, physical, and educational needs so as to joyfully build up God's Kingdom.

Immaculate Conception Church is a Roman Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, served by the Society of Jesus.

Parish News and Information

  • An Hour of Prayer on the 100th Year of the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima
    • One hundred years ago on October 13, 1917, in Fatima, Portugal, our Mother, Mary Most Holy, appeared for six consecutive months to three shepherd children, Lucia dos Santos, and Francisco and Jacinta Marto.  She came to remind a world steeped in apostasy of the gravity of sin and its consequences.  Our Lady did not come to doom her children to despair but to offer hope. Mary’s message, “God wants to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart.” Her plea to us is that we pray, amend our life, and do penance. On Sunday October 22, 2017, at 3:00pm we will gather together at Immaculate Conception Church for an hour of prayer, song, and petition.

    • There will be free parking available in the lot located on the south side of Copper between 6th & 7th Streets, across from the church for this event only. Vehicles are permitted to park there from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

  • Our Fall 2017 Prison Reform Class is starting soon! Click here for more information and to sign up!
